ü God, who has called you into fellowship with his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, is faithful – I Corinthians 1:9
ü For Christ did not send me to baptize, but to preach the gospel—not with words of human wisdom, lest the cross of Christ be emptied of its power – I Corinthians 1:17
ü For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God – I Corinthians 1:18
ü I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God made it grow. So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow – I Corinthians 3:6,7
ü Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit lives in you? If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy him; for God’s temple is sacred, and you are that temple – I Corinthians 3:16,17

ü I beat my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize – I Corinthians 9:27
ü No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it – I Corinthians 10:13

ü Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres – I Corinthians 13:4-7
ü For God is not a God of disorder but of peace – I Corinthians 14:33
ü If only for this life we have hope in Christ, we are to be pitied more than all men – I Corinthians 15:19
