Jesus – God's Present for man kind

Presents, Presents, Presents…

Did you opened your Present that God sent to you? Yes God sent his son to save you and me from sin and accepting this gift means we have eternal life in him.

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him” John 3:16,17

It was one of the winter night nothing was special for this small group of shepherds in Israel 2000 years before,  they were watching over their flocks. Suddenly they saw an angel appearing before them proclaiming the good news that the savior has come for man kind to save them from their sins,  those country shepherds never knew how this message would turn the world upside down by changing the hearts of people towards their creator.  Yes God sent his son as Saviour for this world.

“But the angel said to them, Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord. This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.”  Luke 2:10-12

What  does this Christmas mean to you?

For many this is just about holidays, Santa and family, But we should never forget that the reason for this season is Jesus Christ the savior of the world, God’s one and only eternal son of God left eternity and entered time to live with his creation in this world.  while we enjoy christmas with friends and family, let us also remember that Jesus is our Present, Opening this present means Joy in your heart, peace in your mind, forgiveness for your soul, eternal life with him.

    I like that opening line…We often dont think of it like that but Jesus is the true ultimate “present”.
